Connect your Intervals.icu or Strava account and WaxTrack automatically tracks kilometres on every chain — alerting you the moment it's time to wax.
Every ride syncs from your training platform. WaxTrack counts the kilometres so you don't have to.
Set your own interval based on your wax product and riding conditions — and get a clear warning when each chain is approaching or past its limit.
An optional email when an active chain crosses your warning threshold — so you don't have to keep checking the app. Toggle on or off any time in Settings.
Track every chain across every bike. Switch between them and log re-waxing with a single tap.
A complete log of every wax cycle, with lifetime kilometres per chain and per bike.
Pick from a built-in catalog of major immersion waxes, drip waxes, and wet lubes — then see which lasts longest, ranked by average km per application.
A key factor in wax life is whether your chain got wet — so WaxTrack answers that question for every outdoor ride by sampling weather data along your GPS trail. Tap any tag to override if you remember it differently.
Dark mode by default. Works on desktop and mobile. No clutter, just the information you need.
Credentials are encrypted at rest. Export a full backup any time. Independent and ad-free, with no third-party data sharing.

No manual data entry. WaxTrack ships with a curated catalog of immersion waxes, drip waxes and wet lubes from every major brand. Search it, pick what you use, and every re-wax is tagged with that product automatically.
That's what makes the Wax lab comparisons accurate from the very first application. Using something exotic, or a home blend? Add your own in seconds.

⚠️ A note for Intervals.icu users: WaxTrack counts rides Intervals.icu receives straight from your device or apps like Garmin, Wahoo, Coros and Zwift. Rides that reach Intervals from Strava can't be imported — Strava's data rules stop Intervals from sharing them. A direct Strava connection is now available in limited beta — full release pending Strava’s review of our higher-access tier.
I wax my chains and couldn't find an app that did exactly what I needed — automatically tracking kilometres and customized wax intervals across my bikes, especially one that connected to Intervals.icu. So I built one for myself.
At some point I figured other cyclists might have the same need, so I decided to share it. WaxTrack is free, and I have no intention of charging for it. If you find it useful and would like to help cover the server costs, a small donation is always appreciated — but there's absolutely no pressure.
